2020–21 Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Season
The 2020–21 season was Tottenham Hotspur's 29th season in the Premier League and 43rd successive season in the top division of the English football league system. After finishing in sixth place in the 2019–20 season, Tottenham entered the UEFA Europa League at the second qualifying round, reaching the last 16 in the competition before being eliminated by Dinamo Zagreb over two legs. In the FA Cup, Tottenham played three rounds, being knocked out by Everton in the fifth round. In the league, Tottenham lost their first game at home to Everton, but then went on an unbeaten run into December, where at the time Tottenham were division leaders for four weeks. The 2011 Helmand Province killing was the manslaughter of a wounded Taliban insurgent by Alexander Blackman, which occurred on 15 September 2011. Three Royal Marines, known during their trial as Marines A, B, and C, were anonymously tried by court martial. On 8 November 2013, Marines B and C were acquitted, but Blackman (Marine A) was initially found guilty of murder of the Afghan insurgent, in contravention of section 42 of the Armed Forces Act 2006. Charles Joseph John Hart (born 19 April 1987) known professionally simply as Joe Hart is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Scottish Premiership club Celtic. He began his career at his hometown club Shrewsbury Town in the Football Conference and League Two. English Football League System
The English football league system, also known as the football pyramid, is a series of interconnected leagues for men's association football clubs in England, with five teams from Wales, one from Guernsey, one from Jersey and one from the Isle of Man also competing.
