2020–21 Slovak Basketball League
The 2020–21 Slovak Basketball League season was the 29th season of the top-tier basketball competition in Slovakia. Spišskí Rytieri won its first ever Slovak championship. Rytieri also won the Slovak Basketball Cup, thus winning the double. Teams Seven teams of the previous season are repeating participation in the league, while Slávia Žilina and Rieker Com Therm Komárno withdrew due to financial difficulties. 2019–20 Slovak Basketball League
The 2019–20 Slovak Basketball League season was the 28th season of the top-tier basketball competition in Slovakia. It started on 5 October 2019 and ended prematurely on 13 March 2020 without any declared champion due to the coronavirus pandemic. Competition format Ten teams joined the regular season, consisted in playing against each other four times home-and-away in double a round-robin format. The eight first qualified teams advance to the playoffs. Teams The same nine teams of the previous season repeated participation in the league. MBK Komárno
Mestský Basketbalový Klub Komárno, also known as Rieker Komárno for sponsorship reasons, is a Slovak professional basketball team based in Komárno. The team currently plays in the Slovak Extraliga. History In 2012, Rieker made its first Extraliga Finals appearance, but lost 3–1 to Prievidza. In 2013, Rieker lost 4–3 to Inter Bratislava in the Finals. In the 2014–15 season, the franchise got its first national title after beating Prievidza 4–3 in the Finals. Spišská Nová Ves
Spišská Nová Ves (; hu, Igló; german: (Zipser) Neu(en)dorf) is a town in the Košice Region of Slovakia. The town is located southeast of the High Tatras in the Spiš region, and lies on both banks of the Hornád River. It is the biggest town of the Spišská Nová Ves District. The Niké Aréna is an indoor arena located in Prievidza, Slovakia. It is used as a sports arena, and is the current home of the Slovak basketball club BC Prievidza. Prievidza (; hu, Privigye, german: Priwitz) is a city in the central-western Slovakia. Levice

Lučenec

Svit
Svit ( hu, Szvit) ( pl, Świt) is a small town in Poprad District in the Prešov Region in northern Slovakia. It lies west of the city of Poprad, at the foothills of the High Tatras. History Svit is one of the youngest Slovak towns. It was established in 1934 by business industrialist Jan Antonín Baťa of Zlín, Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic) through his organization Baťa a.s., Zlin in accordance with his policy of setting up villages around the country for his workers.
