2020–21 Cupa României
The 2020–21 Cupa României was the 83rd season of the annual Romanian primary football knockout tournament. The winner qualified for the second qualifying round of the 2021–22 UEFA Europa Conference League. Times up to 26 October 2020 and from 29 March 2021 are EEST (UTC+3). Times between 27 October 2020 and 28 March 2021 are EET (UTC+2). Fotbal Club FCSB (), commonly known as FCSB, is a Romanian professional Association football, football club based in Bucharest. It has spent its entire history in the top flight of the Romanian football league system, Romanian league system, the Liga I. Asociația Fotbal Club Hermannstadt (), commonly known as FC Hermannstadt, Hermannstadt or familiarly as Sibiu (), is a Romanian professional football club based in the city of Sibiu (german: Hermannstadt), Sibiu County, which currently competes in Liga I. The team was established in 2015 and introduced in the fourth division, with ''Hermannstadt'' being the equivalent of the city's name in the standard German language (i.e. Hochdeutsch). Fotbal Club Metaloglobus București, commonly known as Metaloglobus București or simply as Metaloglobus, is a Romanian football club based in București, currently playing in the Liga II. History Metaloglobus București was founded in 1923 as the football team of the Metaloglobus factory, a powerful factory that was founded in the same year by the Austrian industrialist Manfréd Weiss. The factory has been developed more in the communist period and produced all kinds of objects made of steel and iron from lanterns, bullets, boilers and from 1965 they started to produce toys. After the 1989 Romanian Revolution, the factory began to have financial problems and in 2000 was bought by Syrian businessman Imad Kassas. The football team experienced success. Fotbal Club Rapid 1923, commonly known as Rapid București () or simply as Rapid, is a Romanian professional football club based in Bucharest, which competes in the Liga I. It was founded in 1923 by employees of the Grivița workshops as ''Asociația Culturală și Sportivă CFR'' ("CFR Cultural and Sports Association"). Domestically, Rapid București is one of the most successful clubs in the country, having won three national titles, 13 Cupa României and four Supercupa României. AFC Turris-Oltul Turnu Măgurele, commonly known as Turris Turnu Măgurele, or simply Turris, was a Romanian professional football club based in Turnu Măgurele, Teleorman County. The team was founded as ''Voința Saelele'' in 1965 and was originally based in Saelele, Teleorman County. The club played only at amateur level, Liga IV and Liga V, until 2017 when it won Liga IV – Teleorman County and the promotion play-off against CS Strehaia ensuring its first Liga III presence. In the summer of the same year the club was moved from Saelele to Turnu Măgurele and changed its name in ''Voința Turnu Măgurele'', then in the summer of 2018 in Turris-Oltul Turnu Măgurele.
