2020–21 Bangalore Super Division
The 2020–21 Bangalore Super Division was the 18th season of the Bangalore Super Division, the fourth tier of the Indian association football system and the top tier of the Karnataka football system. The season started on 12 January 2021. Bengaluru FC Reserves and Academy, Bengaluru FC 'B' were the defending champions. All games were played at Bangalore Football Stadium. The league was contested by top 12 teams from 2019–20 season as well as Young Challengers and FC Deccan who were promoted from 2019–20 Bangalore 'A' division. AGORC were relegated to 2020–21 Bangalore A Division. Teams Thirteen teams competed in the league. After withdrawal of Ozone FC and South United FC from the league, Students Union who were supposed to be relegated along with last placed AGORC FC were allowed to continue in the top division while Young Challengers and FC Deccan joined after gaining promotion from Bangalore A Division League. Bangalore Super Division
The Bangalore Football League is organised by the Bangalore District Football Association (BDFA), which is affiliated to the Karnataka State Football Association (KSFA) as a ladder-based State football leagues in India, state football competition involving a total of #League structure, four divisions and over 130 teams in the Indian state of Karnataka. Bangalore Super Division is the top-division, started in 2001. The winner is awarded George Hoover trophy. Prior to 2001, the Bangalore A Division was the top tier, which currently act as 2nd tier of the state leagues ladder. Kickstart FC
Kickstart FC is an Indian professional football club from Karnataka. Their women's team participate in Indian Women's League. Men's side competes in the BDFA Super division. Kickstart FC was nominated for I-League 2nd Division in 2019 and 2021 but didn't make it to the final list approved by the AIFF. History KickstartFC was founded on 9 July 2016 by Shekar Rajan and Laxman Bhattarai to develop grassroot level football in Karnataka. 2021 I-League Qualifiers
The 2021 I-League Qualifiers or Hero I-League Qualifiers 2021 (for sponsorship reasons) was the 14th season of I-League 2nd Division since its establishment in 2008. The league winner secured place in 2021–22 I-League season. Subrata Dutta, senior vice president of All India Football Federation, and AIFF league committee members held its meeting on June 26, 2021, agreeing that state associations which have conducted a league or qualifying championship, will be eligible to nominate teams for the qualifiers. Even though states are allowed to nominate two teams, the AIFF said each state association will be represented by just one team in I-League qualifiers. The AIFF has made it clear that only those states which conduct a league will be allowed to nominate a team. At least two states made direct recommendations, but were turned down.
