2020 Turkmenistan Cup
The 2020 Turkmenistan Cup ( tk, Türkmenistanyň Kubogy 2020) was the 27th season of the Turkmenistan Cup knockout tournament. The cup winner qualifies for the 2021 AFC Cup. The draw of the tournament was held on 13 July 2020. The competition started on 27 October 2020 and finished in December 2020. Bracket The eight teams of the 2020 Ýokary Liga entered the competition. Football Club Şagadam ( tk, Şagadam futbol kluby) is a Turkmen football club based in Türkmenbaşy, Balkan Region. The team compete in Ýokary Liga, the top division in Turkmenistan football league system. The club was founded in 1949 and home matches are played at Şagadam Stadium, their original home ground History The football club was founded in 1949 by the Complex of Oil Refineries in Krasnovodsk (Turkmen SSR). Anau (also spelled Annau, tk, Änew) is a city in Turkmenistan. Until 20 December 2022 it was the capital of Ahal Province.
