2020 South Korean Figure Skating Championships
The 2020 South Korean Figure Skating Championships were held from January 3–5, 2020 at the Uijeongbu Indoor Ice Rink in Uijeongbu. It was the 74th edition of the event. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, and ice dance on the senior and junior levels. The results were part of the Korean selection criteria for the 2020 World Junior Championships and the 2020 World Championships. Seoul was originally announced as the host, before the location was changed to Uijeongbu in November 2019. Lee June-hyoung
Lee June-hyoung (Hangul:이준형) (born October 28, 1996) is a South Korean former competitive figure skater. He is the 2014 JGP France champion and a three-time South Korean national champion (2013, 2015, 2016). He is the first South Korean male figure skater who stood on the podium and won gold at ISU events. Also, he is the first Korean male skater to qualify for the ISU Junior Grand Prix Final. Yun Ah-sun
Yun Ah-sun (Hangul: 윤아선; born February 18, 2007) is a South Korean figure skater. She is the 2021 South Korean national silver medalist and finished fourth at the 2022 World Junior Championships, winning a small bronze medal for her short program. Career Early career Yun began learning to skate in 2015. She placed eighth at the senior level at the 2020 South Korean Championships and won the silver medal the following year. Lim Eun-soo (Hangul: 임은수; born February 26, 2003) is a South Korean figure skater. She is the 2018 Rostelecom Cup bronze medalist, the two-time CS Asian Open champion (2018, 2019), the 2018 CS U.S. Classic silver medalist, and the 2017 South Korean national champion. She has finished within the top ten at three senior ISU Championships. Earlier in her career, Lim won two medals on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series (bronze at the 2016 JGP Germany and silver at the 2017 JGP Austria). Kim Ha-nul (Hangul: 김하늘; born April 11, 2002) is a South Korean figure skater. She represented South Korea at the 2018 Winter Olympics and has placed in the top ten at two ISU Championships – the 2018 Four Continents Championships and 2016 World Junior Championships. Wi Seo-yeong (Hangul: 위서영; born March 15, 2005) is a South Korean figure skater. She is the 2022 CS Nebelhorn Trophy silver medalist. Park Sung-hoon (; born December 8, 2002), known mononymously as Sunghoon, is a South Korean singer, former presenter and former figure skater. He competed as a figure skater from 2010 to early 2020; while simultaneously being a Bighit Music trainee since 2018, later transferring to Belift Lab.
