2020 Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC Season
The 2020 Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC season was the club's twenty-first season of existence, their third season in the second tier of American soccer, and their tenth season in the league now named the USL Championship (USL-C). This article covers the period from November 18, 2019, the day after the 2019 USL-C Playoff Final, to the conclusion of the 2020 USL-C Playoff Final, scheduled for November 12–16, 2020. Bob Lilley returns for his third season as Riverhounds manager. On March 12, 2020 the Riverhounds announced their season would be suspended for 30 days as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC is an American professional soccer team based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1999 and beginning play in 1999, the club plays in the Eastern Conference of the USL Championship, the second tier of the American soccer pyramid. Since 2013, the Riverhounds have played their home games at the 5,000-seat Highmark Stadium, a soccer-specific stadium located in Station Square. Their current head coach is Bob Lilley. Saint Lucian international David Flavius currently holds the club records for most appearances and goals which he set over his eight seasons with the Riverhounds between 1999 and 2006. Mark Forrest (born 3 December 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward. Career College and amateur Forrest played four years of college soccer at Lehigh University between 2015 and 2018, making 73 appearances, scoring 41 goals and tallying 21 assists. Ottawa Fury Football Club was a Canadian professional soccer club based in Ottawa, Ontario. Steevan Humberto Fortes dos Santos (born 17 September 1989), also known as "Duba", is a Cape Verdean footballer who plays as a forward for Union Omaha of USL League One.
