2020 PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup
The 2020 PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup was the ninth Aspirants' Cup season of the PBA D–League, the official minor league basketball organization owned by the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The conference commenced on February 13. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has been a concern for the league organizers, halting the season opening as a preventive measure against the outbreak. The conference started on March 2 but the league forced indefinite suspension of games nine days later. On September 30, 2020, PBA commissioner Willie Marcial announced that the tournament has been officially canceled. Format Twelve teams participate in the conference. The tournament will be conducted in four stages: * Single round-robin elimination, where a team plays the other teams once. The six teams with the worst records are eliminated. Aldin Ayo
Aldin Valladolid Ayo (born October 15, 1977) is a Filipino basketball coach and politician who currently serves as head coach for the Converge FiberXers of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He formerly played (in late 90s) and coached his alma mater Letran Knights. High school career Ayo, a native of Sorsogon City, graduated from Colegio De La Milagrosa in elementary and finished his high school education at the Our Lady of Peñafrancia Seminary in 1994. Collegiate career Ayo played collegiate basketball at the Colegio de San Juan de Letran from 1998 to 2001. He teamed up with Kerby Raymundo and Chris Calaguio to help the Letran Knights win back-to-back NCAA titles in 1998 and 1999. Rodericko Cesar Escueta Racela, also known as Olsen Racela, (born November 1, 1970) is the head coach of the FEU Tamaraws men's basketball team. He is also currently an assistant coach of the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Jeff Napa
Jeff Napa (born September 19, 1981) is a Filipino professional basketball player and coach. He is the current head coach of the NU Bulldogs in the UAAP and currently serving as an assistant for the NorthPort Batang Pier in the PBA. He previously coached the Letran Knights in the NCAA. Playing career Jeff Napa was part of the first-ever NU Bulldogs men's basketball team that made it to the Final Four phase of the UAAP basketball tournament in UAAP Season 64.
