2020 Monza Formula 2 Round
The 2020 Monza FIA Formula 2 round was a pair of motor races for Formula 2 cars that took place on 5-6 September 2020 at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza in Monza, Italy as part of the FIA Formula 2 Championship. It was the eighth round of the 2020 FIA Formula 2 Championship and ran in support of the 2020 Italian Grand Prix. Report Ilott repeated his previous year success in Monza qualifying, grabbing another pole. But pit stop struggles left him without the chance of taking the podium. The race was won by Schumacher, who was victorious in the feature race for the first time. He was accompanied by Ghiotto and Lundgaard on podium, with the former equalling the all-time record of 23 podiums by last year's champion Nyck de Vries. In the sprint race Ticktum crossed the finish line first after dominating the race, but he was disqualified due to a lack of fuel. Autodromo Nazionale Monza
The Monza Circuit ( it, Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, , National Automobile Racetrack of Monza) is a race track near the city of Monza, north of Milan, in Italy. Built in 1922, it was the world's third purpose-built motor racing circuit after Brooklands and Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Indianapolis and the oldest in mainland Europe. Roy Nissany ( he, רוי ניסני; born 30 November 1994) is an Israeli racing driver who is set to compete in the Formula 2 Championship with PHM Racing by Charouz. He is also currently a Formula 1 test driver with Williams Grand Prix Engineering. He is the son of former racing driver Chanoch Nissany. Marcus Armstrong
Marcus Cornelius Armstrong (born 29 July 2000) is a New Zealand motor racing driver. He is due to compete in IndyCar on road and street courses with Chip Ganassi Racing in 2023. Previously he competed in the FIA Formula 2 Championship between 2020 and 2022. He was a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy between 2017 and 2021. Armstrong started single-seaters in 2014, and in the following year won his only single-seater title to date in the 2017 Italian F4 Championship whilst becoming runner-up in the 2017 ADAC Formula 4 Championship. is a Japanese racing driver who most recently raced for Virtuosi Racing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship. He is the 2019 Euroformula Open champion.
