2020 French Road Cycling Cup
The 2020 French Road Cycling Cup was the 29th edition of the French Road Cycling Cup. Compared to the previous season, the same 15 events were held. The cup was heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in France, as originally 16 races were scheduled, but only 8 were eventually held, including some replacement events. The defending champion from the previous season was Marc Sarreau, he was succeeded by Nacer Bouhanni who managed to win two events. Events The calendar was heavily disturbed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To obtain a reasonable number of events, replacement races were included in the calendar, such as the 1st stage of the Route d'Occitanie and the 4th stage of the Tour Poitou-Charentes en Nouvelle-Aquitaine. French Road Cycling Cup
The French Road Cycling Cup ( English for Coupe de France de cyclisme sur route) is a road bicycle racing competition under the Fédération Francaise de Cyclisme (French Cycling Federation) each year since 1992. It consists of a number of one-day races in France each year. Each of these races is open for all riders, but until 2015 only French riders and riders who were part of a French team were able to score points for the French Road Cycling Cup. As of 2016, all riders score points. The team competition remains a contest between the French teams only. Points system For the individual rankings, points are awarded to all eligible riders each race according to the following table: Each race, the positions of the first three riders of each French team are added to give the team position. The team with the lowest team position is the winner of the team competition for that race. E.g.: a team having their first three riders all on the podium will have a team position score of 1+2 ...

Paris–Camembert
Paris–Camembert (also Paris–Camembert Trophée Lepetit or Paris–Camembert Lepetit) is a semi classic held annually in April. Since 2005, the race is organized as a 1.1 event on the UCI Europe Tour. The route of the race has varied over the years, it previously started in Magnanville, near Paris, and finished in Vimoutiers. The present day race starts in Pont-Audemer in the Eure department and heads south for 60 km to the environs of the finishing town of Livarot in the Calvados department. Once in the region of Livarot the race takes in seven climbs around the town, some of which are ascended several times. The climbs are namely: Côte de Chevreville-Tonnencourt (one ascent), Côte de l’Angleterre (three ascents), Butte des Fondits (three ascents), Côte de Camembert (one ascent), Côte de la Cavée de Crouttes (two ascents), Côte de Tortisambert (two ascents) and the Côte de la Becquetiere (two ascents). Biniam Girmay
Biniam Girmay Hailu (born 2 April 2000) is a professional Eritrean road cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . At the 2022 Giro d'Italia, he became the first Black African cyclist to win a Grand Tour stage after winning stage 10 in a reduced bunch sprint. Career After discovering cycling through his cousin Meron Teshome, Girmay joined the World Cycling Centre in 2018 for his second junior year. That year, he became a triple junior cycling champion of Africa, winning the road race, time trial and team time trial. He also won the first stage of Aubel–Thimister–Stavelot, beating out favorite Remco Evenepoel.
