2020 Arnold Palmer Cup
The 2020 Arnold Palmer Cup was a team golf competition held from December 21–23, 2020 at Bay Hill Club and Lodge, Bay Hill, Florida. It was the 24th time the event had been contested and the third under the new format in which women golfers played in addition to men and an international team, representing the rest of the world, replaced the European team. The international team won the match 40½–19½. The event was originally planned to be played at Lahinch Golf Club, Lahinch, Ireland from July 3–5 but was moved because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Format The contest was played over three days. On Monday, there were 12 mixed four-ball matches. On Tuesday there were 12 mixed foursomes matches in the morning and 12 fourball matches in the afternoon, six all-women matches and six all-men matches. 24 singles matches were played on Wednesday. Kate Golden
Kate Golden (born February 9, 1967) is an American professional golfer who played on the LPGA Tour. Golden played college golf at the University of Texas where she was an All-American. She graduated in 1989 with a degree in Criminal Justice. Golden competed on the Futures Tour in 1989 and 1990. She joined the LPGA Tour in 1992. Gina Kim (golfer)
Gina Kim (born May 4, 2000) is an American professional golfer. Background Kim was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to parents of Korean origin. They moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina, when Gina was age 3. She took up golfing at age 7, encouraged by her parents, who both played golf before becoming professors at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. By mid-2014 and at age 14, she was ranked the No. 1 female junior golfer (under 18) in North Carolina. The Ole Miss Rebels are the 18 men's and women's intercollegiate athletic teams that are funded by and represent the University of Mississippi, located in Oxford. The first was the football team, which began play in 1893. Originally known as the "Mississippi Flood", the teams were renamed the Rebels in 1936.
