2019–20 Ohio Valley Conference Men's Basketball Season
The 2019–20 Ohio Valley Conference men's basketball season was the 71st season of Ohio Valley Conference men's basketball. It began with practices in October 2018, followed by the start of the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season on November 5, 2019. Conference play began January 2, 2019 and concluded on February 29, 2020. The 2020 Ohio Valley Conference men's basketball tournament was held March 4–7 at the Ford Center (Evansville), Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana, Evansville, Indiana. Preseason Preseason Poll The 2019 preseason poll was determined at the conference's media day on October 22, 2019, at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana. Adam Kunkel (basketball)
Adam Terrence Kunkel (born December 9, 1999) is an American college basketball, basketball player for the South Bay Lakers of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Belmont Bruins men's basketball, Belmont Bruins and the Xavier Musketeers men's basketball, Xavier Musketeers. High school career Kunkel attended Randall K. Cooper High School. As a junior, he helped his team reach the Sweet 16 title game, scoring 13 points in the loss against Bowling Green High School (Kentucky), Bowling Green High School. Kunkel averaged 16.3 points and 3.9 rebounds per game, shooting 41 percent from three-point range. He earned Kentucky Region IX Player of the Year, Third Team Kentucky All-State, and Lexington Catholic Tournament Most Valuable Player honors. Kunkel averaged 20 points and 7.7 rebounds per game as a senior, shooting 45 percent from behind the arc.
