2019–20 Hallyburton Johnstone Shield
The 2019–20 Hallyburton Johnstone Shield was a 50-over women's cricket competition, the third season with the name Hallyburton Johnstone Shield, that took place in New Zealand. It ran from November 2019 to March 2020, with 6 provincial teams taking part. Auckland Hearts beat Northern Spirit in the final to win the tournament. The tournament ran alongside the 2019–20 Super Smash. Competition format Teams played in a double round-robin in a group of six, therefore playing 10 matches overall. Matches were played using a one day format with 50 overs per side. The top two in the group advanced to the final. The group worked on a points system with positions being based on the total points. Arlene Nora Kelly (born 8 January 1994) is an Irish cricketer who plays for Dragons and Ireland. She has previously played for Auckland and Kent. She made her international debut for Ireland in June 2022. Career Kelly was born in Auckland, New Zealand, in 1994. Anna Michelle Peterson (born 12 September 1990) is a New Zealand former cricketer who played as an all-rounder, batting right-handed and bowling right-arm off break. Natalie Dodd
Natalie Claire Dodd (born 22 November 1992, in Hamilton) is a New Zealand cricketer who has represented New Zealand in women's one-day internationals. She made her international debut in 2010 as a teenager in year 12 at Waikato Diocesan School. Career A prolific top order batsman, Dodd started playing cricket when she was around 10 and quickly developed her skills and made her first rep side at age 11 when selected for the Northern Districts under-14 team. Brent Fraser "Billy" Bowden (born 11 April 1963) is a cricket umpire from New Zealand. He was a player until he began to suffer from rheumatoid arthritis. Seddon Park
Seddon Park is a cricket ground in Hamilton, New Zealand. It is the fourth-largest cricket ground in the country, and is renowned for its "village green" setting, affording a picnic atmosphere for spectators. History Seddon Park was named after Richard Seddon, the longest-serving Prime Minister of New Zealand. Hamilton Borough Council named it in July 1906 before it was developed. Frances Cecilia Jonas (born 8 April 2004) is a New Zealand cricketer who plays for Auckland as a slow left-arm orthodox bowler.
