2019–20 Elon Phoenix Men's Basketball Team
The 2019–20 Elon Phoenix men's basketball team were an American basketball team who represented Elon University during the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Phoenix, led by first-year head coach Mike Schrage, played as sixth-year members of the Colonial Athletic Association and played their home games at the Schar Center. Previous season The Phoenix finished the 2018–19 season 11–20, 7–11 in CAA play to finish in a two-way tie for sixth place. They lost in the first round of the CAA tournament to UNC Wilmington. Following the season, head coach Matt Matheny was fired and former Ohio State assistant coach Mike Schrage was hired. Mike Schrage
Mike Schrage (born April 2, 1976) is an American basketball coach, currently a Special Assistant to the Head Coach at Duke University. He was formerly the head coach for the Elon Phoenix men's basketball team. He has a wife (Amanda) and two children (Andrew and Sophie) Coaching career While a student at Indiana University Bloomington, Schrage was a manager and student assistant with the men's basketball team. After graduation, he was hired as the director of operations at Ole Miss, where he stayed for one season before joining the academic support staff at Duke. Schrage served in that role until 2002, when he was promoted to director of basketball operations, a role he stayed in until 2008 when he joined Johnny Dawkins' staff at Stanford as an assistant coach. Northfield Mount Hermon School
Northfield Mount Hermon School, often called NMH, is a co-educational preparatory school in Gill, Massachusetts, in the United States. It is a member of the Eight Schools Association. Present day NMH offers nearly 200 courses, including AP and honors classes in every discipline. The Butler Bulldogs men's basketball team represents Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. The school's team currently competes in the Big East Conference. They play their home games at Hinkle Fieldhouse. History Butler competed as part of the Horizon League since its founding, and played basketball in other regional conferences before that, including the Missouri Valley Conference.
