2019–20 Arab Club Champions Cup
The 2019–20 Arab Club Champions Cup, officially named the 2019–20 Mohammed VI Champions Cup ( ar, كأس محمد السادس للأندية الأبطال 2019–20) after Mohammed VI of Morocco, where the final was hosted, was the 29th season (not including 1990) of the Arab World's inter-club football tournament organised by UAFA. Étoile du Sahel were the defending champions, having won their first title the previous edition. They were eliminated by Shabab Al-Ordon in the first round. The tournament was postponed for ten months in 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic, and the final was played on 21 August 2021, where Raja Casablanca defeated Al-Ittihad Jeddah on penalties after a 4–4 draw to earn their second title. Al Jazira Club
Al Jazira Club is an Emirati professional football club based in Abu Dhabi, that currently competes in the UAE Pro League. History Al-Jazira was established in 1974 as a merger between ''Khalidiyah'' and ''Al Bateen''. 2017 Arab Club Championship
The 2017 Arab Club Championship was the 27th season of the Arab World's inter-club football tournament organised by UAFA, and the first season since it was renamed from the UAFA Club Cup to the Arab Club Championship. The competition was won by Tunisian club Espérance de Tunis, who defeated Jordanian side Al-Faisaly 3–2 after extra time in the final to secure a joint-record third title. Allocation of entries The following team entries allocation was announced by the Union of Arab Football Associations on 20 June 2016. Each association was given entry either to the qualifying play-off or to the group stage based on the FIFA World Ranking of the associations on 2 June 2016. 2018–19 Iraqi Premier League
The 2018–19 Iraqi Premier League ( ar, الدوري العراقي الممتاز 2018–19) was the 45th season of the Iraqi Premier League, the highest division for Iraqi association football clubs, since its establishment in 1974. The season started on 14 September 2018 and ended on 24 July 2019. A two-horse title race ensued for most of the season and Al-Shorta ended up as champions by finishing five points ahead of Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya at the top of the table. During this season, Al-Shorta managed to equal the record of 39 consecutive Iraqi Premier League matches undefeated set by Al-Zawraa in 1994.
