2019–20 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship
The 2019–20 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship was the 50th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1970-71. The championship began on 20 October 2019 and ended on 19 January 2020. Corofin entered the championship as the defending champions. On 19 January 2020, Corofin won the championship following a 1-12 to 0-07 defeat of Kilcoo in the All-Ireland final at Croke Park. It was their fifth championship title overall, while they also became the first team to win three successive championships. Tuam ( ; ga, Tuaim , meaning 'mound' or 'burial-place') is a town in Ireland and the second-largest settlement in County Galway. It is west of the midlands of Ireland, about north of Galway city. Tuam Stars ( ga, Réalta Thuama) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the Tuam area in County Galway, Ireland. The club is a member of the Galway GAA. Underage teams up to U-16's play in the Galway league and championships while Minor, Junior, and Senior compete in their respective competitions in the North Board section. The 2019 Galway Senior Football Championship is the 124th edition of Galway GAA's premier Gaelic football tournament for senior graded clubs in County Galway, Ireland. The winners receive the Frank Fox Cup and represent Galway in the Connacht Senior Club Football Championship. Eighteen teams compete. This year there will be a new format once again.
