2019 UEFA European Under-19 Championship Qualification
The 2019 UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualifying competition was a men's under-19 football competition that determined the seven teams joining the automatically qualified hosts Armenia in the 2019 UEFA European Under-19 Championship final tournament. Apart from Armenia, all remaining 54 UEFA member national teams entered the qualifying competition. Players born on or after 1 January 2000 were eligible to participate. Starting from this season, up to five substitutions are permitted per team in each match. Format The qualifying competition consists of two rounds: *Qualifying round: Apart from Portugal and Germany, which receive byes to the elite round as the teams with the highest seeding coefficient, the remaining 52 teams are drawn into 13 groups of four teams. Loïs Openda
Ikoma-Loïs Openda (born 16 February 2000) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Ligue 1 club Lens and the Belgium national team. Club career Openda played as a youth for Patro Othee FC and RFC Liège before joining the youth academy of Standard Liège. In 2015, he moved to the academy of Club Brugge, where he made his senior debut on 10 August 2018 in the Belgian Pro League against Kortrijk. Openda replaced Jelle Vossen after 80 minutes. On 21 July 2020, Openda joined Dutch Eredivisie club Vitesse on a season-long loan deal. He scored his first goal for the club on 3 October, in a 3–0 win over Heracles Almelo. Vitesse reached the final of the KNVB Cup, but lost 1–2 to Ajax. Openda scored the only goal for the Arnhem-based team. In June 2021, Openda rejoined Vitesse on loan for another season. The 2014 UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualifying round was the first round of the qualification for the 2014 UEFA European Under-19 Championship final tournament. A total of 52 participating teams were divided into 13 groups of 4 teams, with one of the teams hosting all six group matches in a single round-robin format. The 13 group winners, 13 group runners-up and the best third-placed team secured qualification for the elite round. Hungary qualified as hosts, while Spain received a bye to the elite round as the side with the highest competition coefficient. Mohammed "Hamoudi" Kna'an (or Kanaan, ar, مُحَمَّد "خَمُّودِيّ" كَنعَان, he, מוחמד "חמודי" כנעאן; born ) is an Israeli professional footballer who plays as a forward for Israeli Premier League club Ashdod and the Israeli National team. The 2017 UEFA European Under-19 Championship (also known as UEFA Under-19 Euro 2017) was the 16th edition of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship (66th edition if the Under-18 and Junior eras are included), the annual international youth football championship organised by UEFA for the men's under-19 national teams of Europe. 2016 UEFA European Under-19 Championship
The 2016 UEFA European Under-19 Championship was the 15th edition of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship (65th edition if the Under-18 and Junior eras are included), the annual European international youth football championship contested by the men's under-19 national teams of UEFA member associations. Germany, which were selected by UEFA on 20 March 2012, hosted the tournament between 11 and 24 July 2016. A total of eight teams competed in the final tournament, with players born on or after 1 January 1997 eligible to participate. Same as previous editions held in even-numbered years, the tournament acted as the UEFA qualifiers for the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
