The 2019 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup was the 27th Porsche Supercup season. It began on 12 May at Circuit de Catalunya and ended on 27 October at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, after ten scheduled races, all of which were support events for the 2019 Formula One season. Alberto Cerqui (born 20 June 1992, in Brescia) is an Italian racing driver. He has competed in the World Touring Car Championship. Career Single seaters After winning titles in karting, Cerqui graduated to single-seater racing in 2009, racing in Formula Azzurra. He scored four victories, two pole positions and six podiums from 16 races on his way to the title. He graduated to the Italian Formula Three Championship in 2010, driving for Ombra Racing. Daniel Harper (born 8 December 2000) is a racing driver from Northern Ireland. He is currently competing as part of the BMW Junior Team and is an ex Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain champion. Career Starting his racing career aged six, Harper was a multiple champion in both quad bike and karting competition in his early years, before switching to junior rallying and winning three events in the Ireland Junior 1000 Rally Challenge in 2015. Harper made the transition to circuit racing the following year after winning the Ginetta Junior Scholarship and with it a fully-funded season in the Ginetta Junior Championship for 2016. Project 1 Motorsport, formerly known as tolimit Motorsport, is a German auto racing team founded by Hans-Bernd Kamps and Jörg Michaels in 1993 to compete in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany and later the Porsche Supercup. Based in Lohne, the team has won eighteen championships in the two Porsche series, and has expanded in 2018 to the FIA World Endurance Championship.
