2019 Philippines Football League
The 2019 Philippines Football League was the third season of the Philippines Football League (PFL), the professional football league of the Philippines. Ceres–Negros are the defending champions. This marks the revival of the Philippines Football League as the league folded after the 2018 season to give way for the Philippine Premier League, intended as a successor league to the PFL, which proved to be short-lived. The 2019 season started on May 25, 2019, and ended on October 19, 2019. Ceres–Negros won their second title on October 12, 2019 by winning over Green Archers United 3–1 with two matches to spare. On October 19, 2019, Ceres beat rivals Kaya–Iloilo 3–0 to complete the first 3-peat in PFL History and by doing so got their 22nd PFL victory, leading them to the first invincibles this season. Philippines Football League
The Philippines Football League, commonly known as PFL, is a Filipino professional football league sanctioned by the Philippine Football Federation (PFF). It is the Philippines' highest level of men's club football, supplanting the United Football League (UFL), which was previously the ''de facto'' top-tier league in the country. Starting from the 2020 season, the league is also known as The Philippines Football League brought to you by Qatar Airways, due to the league's title sponsorship. The PFL has 6 seasons thus far ( 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022), 5 of which were won by United City F.C. (3 were earned as Ceres-Negros F.C. While 2 were earned as the current United City F.C.) Batangas

Carlos Alberto Olaivar Martinez de Murga (born 30 November 1988), known as Carli de Murga, is a professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Malaysian club Johor Darul Ta'zim and the Philippines national team. Risto Vidaković
Risto Vidaković (Serbian Cyrillic: Pиcтo Bидaкoвић; born 5 January 1969) is a Bosnian professional football manager and former player who is currently managing Singapore Premier League club Lion City Sailors. He spent his playing career as a centre-back for Yugoslav clubs Sarajevo and Red Star Belgrade before moving to Spain, where he spent five seasons with Real Betis in La Liga, and a season each for Osasuna and Poli Ejido. Internationally, he represented Yugoslavia and FR Yugoslavia. After retiring as a player, Vidaković became an assistant coach for the Serbia national team and Segunda División side Murcia. Biñan Football Stadium
The Biñan Football Stadium is a track and field and football venue in Biñan, Laguna, Philippines. On October 28, 2015, the Biñan city government and the Philippine Football Federation signed a memorandum of understanding agreeing that the stadium shall be the home stadium of the Philippine women's national football team as well as the national youth teams at least until 2019. The stadium was upgraded in anticipation of its hosting of football matches of the 2019 Southeast Asian Games. Iloilo Sports Complex, also known as the Iloilo Sports Center is a multi-use sports complex in La Paz, Iloilo City, La Paz, Iloilo City, Philippines and is the venue of athletic events in Iloilo province and Western Visayas and occasionally hosts large gatherings such as concerts. Its main stadium, the Main Stadium, has a seating capacity of 7,000. The University of Makati Stadium, simply known as the UMak, is a football and track field stadium built and owned by the University of Makati. Background The stadium has hosted United Football League games as well as a friendly match of the Philippines national football team. It also has hosted the National Capital Region F.A.
