2019 Petit Le Mans
The 2019 Petit Le Mans (formally known as the 2019 MOTUL Petit Le Mans for sponsorship reasons) was the 22nd running of the Petit Le Mans, and was held on October 12th 2019. It was the last race in the 2019 IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship, and the last race of the 2019 Michelin Endurance Cup, and was run at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia. The race was won overall by the #31 Whelen Engineering Racing Cadillac DPi-V.R after its sister car fell out with brake failure with less than 30 minutes remaining. Chris Miller (racing Driver)
Chris Miller (born May 5, 1989) is an American racing driver from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is best known for winning in class at the 2016 24 Hours of Daytona and winning overall at the 2018 6 Hours of Watkins Glen. He currently competes in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship with JDC-Miller MotorSports. In 2008 he drove in the F2000 Championship Series for JDC MotorSports and finished 4th in points. He won the 2009 F2000 Championship Series title, winning 4 of the 12 races. In 2010 he moved up to the Pro Mazda championship. Renger Van Der Zande
Renger van der Zande (born 16 February 1986) is a Dutch racing driver who currently competes in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship for Chip Ganassi Racing. He is the son of the 1978 National Dutch Rallycross Champion Ronald van der Zande. In 2016, Van der Zande won his first major sports car championship with co-driver Alex Popow and Starworks Motorsport in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship PC Class. Stephen Simpson (born 8 January 1984) is a South African-American professional racing driver currently competing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and previously in the A1 Grand Prix, Champ Car Atlantic Championship and the Indy Pro Series, among others. Simon Trummer (born 8 June 1989 in Frutigen, Canton of Bern) is a racing driver from Switzerland. Simon Pagenaud (born 18 May 1984) is a French professional racing driver. He is contracted to drive the No. 60 Honda for Meyer Shank Racing in the IndyCar Series. A V6 engine is a six-cylinder piston engine where the cylinders share a common crankshaft and are arranged in a V configuration.
