2019 Northern NSW Football Season
The 2019 Northern NSW Football season was the sixth season under the new competition format in northern New South Wales. League Tables 2019 National Premier League Northern NSW At the end of the season, the Newcastle Jets Youth team transferred to the National Premier Leagues NSW, within the newly created NPL4 Division. They were subsequently promoted to the NPL2 Division mid-season, when the 2020 season resumed in July. Northern NSW Football
Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) is the governing body of soccer in the north of New South Wales, Australia. It is a member of the national governing body, Football Australia. The Federation was established the 9 September 1884 as the Northern District British Football Association. To fall in line with the global football identity, the federation was re-branded to Northern NSW Football on 25 October 2006. Newcastle United Jets Football Club, commonly known as Newcastle Jets, is an Australian professional soccer club based in Newcastle, New South Wales. A-League
A-League Men (known as the Isuzu UTE A-League for sponsorship reasons) is the highest-level professional men's soccer league in Australia and New Zealand. At the top of the Australian league system, it is the country's premier men's competition for the sport. A-League Men was established in 2004 as the A-League by the Football Federation Australia (FFA) as a successor to the National Soccer League (NSL) and competition commenced in August 2005. The league is currently are administered by the Australian Professional Leagues (APL), contested by twelve teams; eleven based in Australia and one based in New Zealand. 2019 FFA Cup
The 2019 FFA Cup was the sixth season of the FFA Cup, the main national soccer knockout cup competition in Australia. 32 teams contested the competition proper (from the Round of 32), including 10 of the 11 A-League teams (with Western United not competing in their inaugural season) and 21 Football Federation Australia (FFA) member federation teams determined through individual state qualifying rounds, as well as the reigning National Premier Leagues Champion ( Campbelltown City from South Australia). Away Goals Rule
The away goals rule is a method of tiebreaker, tiebreaking in association football and other sports when teams play each other twice, once at each team's home ground. Under the away goals rule, if the total goals scored by each team are equal, the team that has scored more goals "Road (sports), away from home" wins. 2020 Football NSW Season
The Football NSW 2020 season was the eighth season of football in New South Wales under the banner of the National Premier Leagues. The competition consists of four divisions across the state of New South Wales. All NPL and grassroots competitions were suspended for one month due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia, effective 18 March to 14 April, and further extended until at least the end of May. The regular season re-commenced in a condensed format from 18 July, with promotion and relegation suspended. The 2019 National Premier Leagues was the seventh season of the Australian National Premier Leagues association football, football competition. The league competition was played by eight separate state and territory member federations. Lake Macquarie City FC
Lake Macquarie City FC is a football club in Lake Macquarie, New South Wales. The club was formed in 1912 formed by a group of Scottish miners in the area. Charlestown Azzurri FC (formerly Charlestown City Blues FC) is an Australian soccer club based in Whitebridge, a suburb of Newcastle, New South Wales.
