2019 Italian Basketball Cup
The 2019 Italian Basketball Cup, known as the 2018 PosteMobile Final Eight for sponsorship reasons, was the 51st edition of Italy's national cup tournament. The competition is managed by the Lega Basket for LBA clubs. The tournament was played from 14 to 17 February 2019 in Florence, at the end of the first half of the 2018–19 LBA season. Fiat Torino were the defending champions. Vanoli Cremona went to win its first Cup ever by beating New Basket Brindisi 83–74 in the Finals. Drew Crawford was named Panasonic MVP of the competition. Qualification Qualified for the tournament were selected based on their position on the league table at the end of the first half of the 2018–19 LBA regular season. James Nunnally
James William Nunnally (born July 14, 1990) is an American professional basketball player for KK Partizan Belgrade of the Serbian KLS, the Adriatic League and the EuroLeague. High school career Nunnally attended Weston Ranch High School in Stockton, California. As a sophomore, he averaged 10 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. As a junior, he averaged 19 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game as he was named Stockton Record Player of the Year, All-State, All-CIF Sac-Joaquin Section and All-Valley Oak League. Tyler Cain
Tyler Cain (born June 30, 1988) is an American basketball player for Derthona Basket of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). He played college basketball for the University of South Dakota (USD). He is best known for being the inaugural winner of the Great West Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year award in 2009–10, the conference's first as a Division I basketball league. Thomas Ryan Scrubb (born September 26, 1991 in Richmond, British Columbia) is a Canadian professional basketball player for Monbus Obradoiro of the Spanish Liga ACB. Travis Lyle Diener ( ; born March 1, 1982) is an American-Italian former professional basketball player who last played for Vanoli Cremona in the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). He also holds Italian citizenship, and has played for the Italian national team at EuroBasket 2013.
