The 2019 Ford EcoBoost 200 is a NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series race held on November 15, 2019, at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Homestead, Florida. The Baptist Health 200 is an annual 200-mile (321.869 km) NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race held at the Homestead–Miami Speedway in Homestead, Florida. The race began as a 250-mile race in 1996, but beginning with the 2002 season, the race was shortened by 50 miles. History Beginning as a 250-mile race, the inaugural race in 1996 was won by Ford racing driver Dave Rezendes after starting the race tenth on the grid. The following year, John Nemechek was seriously injured in a crash during the race and died several days later, becoming the first of two drivers (the other being Tony Roper in 2000) to die from injuries sustained in a crash in the Truck Series. 2019 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series
The 2019 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series was the 25th season of the third highest stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in North America. It marks the transition of the series' corporate sponsor from Camping World to its subsidiary Gander Outdoors. Matt Crafton won his third series championship, his first since his consecutive titles in 2013 and 2014. Jordan L. Anderson (born April 15, 1991) is an American professional stock car racing driver and team owner. He competes part-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, driving the No. 3 Chevrolet Silverado for his team Jordan Anderson Racing. Racing career Anderson began racing in karts as an eight-year-old. He raced in Legends and Late model cars as his career developed. Ford Championship Weekend
Since 2002, NASCAR's top three racing series have closed their season with a weekend designed to crown each series' champion, officially known as NASCAR Championship Weekend. From 2002 until 2019, the final race weekend of the season was run at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Homestead, Florida. Ford Motor Company became the title sponsor for all three races, and the weekend became known as Ford Championship Weekend. Stock car racing events in the NASCAR Xfinity Series has been held at the Homestead–Miami Speedway since the track's inauguration in 1995. For much of its history, it was the final race of the second-tier series' season.
