Veles ( mk, Велес ) is a city in the central part of North Macedonia on the Vardar river. The city of Veles is the seat of Veles Municipality. Veles is the sixth largest Macedonian city with a total population of 43,716 (census 2002). 2019–20 Macedonian First Football League
The 2019–20 Macedonian First League was the 28th season of the Macedonian First Football League, the highest football league of North Macedonia. It began on 11 August 2019 and was scheduled to be end in July 2020. Each team will play the other sides four times on home-away basis, for a total of 36 matches. Shkëndija are the defending champions, having won their third title in 2018–19. On 4 June 2020, the Football Federation of North Macedonia announced that the competition was abandoned due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in North Macedonia. Vardar was awarded the title, but no teams were relegated. The teams playing in Europe will be decided once the teams which successfully obtain a UEFA licence are known. Negotino ( mk, Неготино, ) is a town in North Macedonia, the seat of the Negotino Municipality. Its population is about 13,000. Geography Negotino is located on the right side of the river Vardar. Gradski Stadion Kavadarci
Gradski Stadion Kavadarci (Macedonian Cyrillic: Градски Стадион Кавадарци) is a multi-use stadium in Kavadarci, North Macedonia. It is used mostly for football matches and is currently the home ground of GFK Tikvesh. The stadium was built in the late 1940s and the first match played was on 19 March 1950 between FK Tikvesh and NK Rudar Trbovlje from Slovenia, qualification for the Yugoslav Third League, the final score was 1–4 for the visitors from Slovenia. Pehčevo ( mk, Пехчево, is a small town in the eastern part of North Macedonia. It is the seat of Pehčevo Municipality. Pehčevo is known for its winter tourism. History In the late 19th and early 20th century, Pehčevo was part of the Kosovo Vilayet of the Ottoman Empire. In 1913, as a result of the Balkan Wars, the town became a part of the Kingdom of Serbia, which in 1918 joined the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (in 1929 renamed Kingdom of Yugoslavia).
