2018–19 CSA T20 Challenge
The 2018–19 CSA T20 Challenge was the sixteenth season of the CSA T20 Challenge, established by Cricket South Africa. It took place from 5 April to 5 May 2019. Titans were the defending champions. In April 2019, Cricket South Africa announced that this would be the final edition of the T20 Challenge, due to austerity measures and a restructure of domestic cricket in the country. Rain played a factor during the tournament, with several matches ending in a no result or being abandoned, including all three matches scheduled to be played on Easter Monday. Cricket South Africa
Cricket South Africa (CSA) is the governing body for both professional and amateur cricket in South Africa. In 1991, the separate South African Cricket Union and the South African Cricket Board merged to form the United Cricket Board of South Africa (UCB), ending enforced racial separation governance in South African cricket. Cricket South Africa was formed in 2002, and initially ran parallel to the UCB, before becoming the sole governing body in 2008. Lutho Sipamla (born 12 May 1998) is a South African professional cricketer who plays domestic cricket for Gauteng. He made his international debut for the South Africa cricket team in February 2019. Kingsmead Cricket Ground
Kingsmead is a cricket ground in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Its stated capacity is 25,000, although grass terracing makes up part of the viewing area. The 'end names' are the Umgeni End (north) and the Old Fort Road End (south). It is the home ground of the KwaZulu-Natal Dolphins. Shadley van Schalkwyk (born 5 August 1988) is a South African cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler who currently plays for Seattle Thunderbolts & Los Angeles Knight Riders. He was born in Cape Town. Centurion, Gauteng
Centurion (previously known as Verwoerdburg and before that Lyttelton) is an area with 236,580 inhabitants (2011 census) in the Gauteng Province of South Africa, between Pretoria and Midrand (Johannesburg). Centurion Park is a cricket ground in Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa. It is also known as SuperSport Park since television company Supersport bought shares in the stadium. The capacity of the ground is 22,000. The Titans cricket team have played most of their home games here since 2004.
