2018 Women's T20 Challenge
The 2018 Women's T20 Challenge was the inaugural edition of Women's T20 Challenge, a women's Twenty20 cricket match which took place on 22 May 2018 at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. In an effort to popularise women's cricket, the BCCI had organised the match ahead of Qualifier 1 of 2018 IPL. The exhibition match was also held by the BCCI as a rehearsal for a Women's IPL tournament, a target which would be accomplished in the future. IPL Trailblazers
IPL Trailblazers were an Indian cricket team. They were founded in 2018 to compete in the Women's T20 Challenge, which they competed in until the tournament ended in 2022. They won the tournament once, beating Supernovas in the final of the 2020 Women's T20 Challenge by 16 runs. History 2018 Trailblazers were formed in 2018 to take part in the inaugural Women's T20 Challenge competition, in which they played a one-off match against Supernovas. The game was viewed as a response to the men's Indian Premier League, and hopes were that the one-off game would lead towards a fully-fledged tournament in the future. Alyssa Healy
Alyssa Jean Healy (born 24 March 1990) is an Australian cricketer who plays for the Australian women's national team and New South Wales in domestic cricket, as well as the Sydney Sixers in the WBBL. She made her international debut in February 2010. A right-handed batter and wicket-keeper, she is the daughter of Greg Healy, who was part of the Queensland squad, while her uncle Ian Healy was Australia's Test wicket-keeper and held the world record for the most Test dismissals. Veda Krishnamurthy (born 16 October 1992) is an Indian cricketer. She made her debut in international cricket at the age of 18 in a one day international against England Women at Derby on 30 June 2011. Squadron Leader (retired) Shikha Subas Pandey (born 12 May 1989) is an Indian cricketer and former officer in the Indian Air Force (IAF). She plays for the national cricket team as a right-arm medium pacer and middle-order batter, and was an IAF air traffic control officer. Danielle Hazell (born 13 May 1988) is an English cricket coach and former player. She is currently the coach of English domestic team Northern Diamonds. As a player she was an off break bowler who batted right-handed.
