The 2018 US Open Women's Singles final was the championship tennis match of the 2018 US Open – Women's singles, Women's Singles tournament at the 2018 US Open (tennis), 2018 US Open. Sloane Stephens defeated Madison Keys in the final, 6–3, 6–0 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2017 US Open. It was her first major title. Stephens became the second unseeded woman in the Open Era to win the title after Kim Clijsters in 2009. It was the first all-American final at the US Open since 2002. The 2018 Australian Open was a tennis tournament played at Melbourne Park between 15 and 28 January 2018, and was the first Grand Slam tournament of the 2018 season.
