2018 Sweden Hockey Games
The 2018 Sweden Hockey Games was played between 26 and 29 April 2018. The Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden and Russia played a round-robin for a total of three games per team and six games in total. Three of the matches were played in Stockholm, Sweden, two matches in Södertälje, Sweden and one match in Helsinki, Finland. Finland won the tournament. The tournament was part of 2017–18 Euro Hockey Tour. Standings Games ''All times are local.'' Veli-Matti Savinainen
Veli-Matti Savinainen (born 5 January 1986) is a Finnish professional ice hockey forward who currently plays for Jokerit of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Playing career Savinainen has previously played for the Liiga clubs, Ässät and Tappara, and for HC Ugra, Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod of the Russian KHL, as well as Leksands IF of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). He Joined Leksands IF on a one-year contract on 30 August 2014 after spending the 2013–14 season with Ugra. Olli Palola (born 8 April 1988) is a Finnish professional ice hockey forward who currently plays professionally for Rögle BK of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Playing career Palola saw his first action in the Finnish top-flight Liiga during the 2006–07 season, playing six contests for Ilves. He then spent four years with fellow Liiga team Lukko, helping the team to a third-place finish in 2010–11. After having transferred to Tappara, he made it to the 2013 and 2014 Liiga finals with the team. During the 2013-14 campaign, Palola scored 30 goals and dealt out 26 assists in 80 games and was presented with the Aarne Honkavaara Trophy as the league's best goalscorer. Maxim Vladimirovich Mamin (russian: Максим Владимирович Maмин; born 13 January 1995) is a Russian professional ice hockey forward currently playing for the HC CSKA Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Ilya Andreyevich Kablukov (russian: Илья Андреевич Каблуков) (born 18 January 1988) is a Russian professional ice hockey forward. Stanislav Galiev (born 17 January 1992) is a Russian professional ice hockey right winger for Ak Bars Kazan of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Henri Jokiharju (born 17 June 1999) is a Finnish professional ice hockey defenceman for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL). Jokiharju was selected 29th overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in the first round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
