2018 Players Championship
The 2018 Players Championship was a professional golf tournament, held from May 10–13 at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The flagship event of the PGA Tour, this was the 45th edition of The Players Championship, and the 37th edition held at the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. The tournament was won by Webb Simpson, four strokes ahead of three runners-up. Defending champion Kim Si-woo opened with a five-under 67, but finished 15 strokes back, tied for 63rd place. Jason Day
Jason Day (born 12 November 1987) is an Australian professional golfer, PGA Tour member and winner of the 2015 PGA Championship. He is a former world number one in the World Golf Ranking, having first achieved the ranking in September 2015. Day first broke into the world's top ten in June 2011, rising to world number nine after his runner-up finish at the U.S. Open. In February 2014, Day won his first WGC title, the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship and would win it for a second time in 2016. Marc Leishman
Marc Leishman (born 24 October 1983) is an Australian professional golfer. He has won six times on the PGA Tour. In 2009 he won the Rookie of the Year award on the PGA Tour, the first Australian to win the award. Career Leishman was born in Warrnambool, Victoria. Satoshi Kodaira
is a Japanese professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour and Japan Golf Tour. While playing on the Japan Golf Tour, Kodaira has had seven victories, including two Japan Golf Tour majors, the 2013 Japan Golf Tour Championship Shishido Hills and the 2015 Japan Open. Maxie Patton Kizzire (born March 3, 1986) is an American professional golfer, currently playing on the PGA Tour. Amateur career Kizzire was born in Montgomery, Alabama, grew up in Tuscaloosa, and played his collegiate golf at Auburn University. He earned all-Southeastern Conference first team honors in 2006–07. Billy Horschel
William John Horschel (born December 7, 1986) is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour. Early years and amateur career Horschel was born and raised in Grant, Florida. He attended Bayside High School in neighboring Palm Bay.
