2018 Pan American Fencing Championships
The 2018 Pan American Fencing Championships was held in Havana, Cuba from 15 to 20 June 2018 at the Coliseo de la Ciudad Deportiva. The top seven teams (+ hosts Peru) in each team event qualified for the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. After the seven teams in each event were determined, the top two athletes per individual event not qualified through a team would also qualify. Eli Dershwitz
Eli Dershwitz (born September 23, 1995) is an American left-handed sabre fencer, four-time individual Pan American champion, and two-time Olympian. In 2014, Dershwitz won the US Men's Saber National Championship, becoming the youngest US senior men's saber championship holder. Dershwitz then won the 2015 Junior World Fencing Championships in saber, becoming the inaugural U.S. men's saber fencer to win a world title. He is a four-time Pan-American Championship title holder, and the 2015 Pan American Games champion in saber. Dershwitz competed in fencing at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He returned to Harvard University as a sophomore, winning individual saber in the 2017 NCAA Fencing Championship and as a junior in the 2018 NCAA Fencing Championship. He won a silver medal in saber at the 2018 World Fencing Championships. He was ranked #1 in the United States as of February 2018, and was ranked #1 in the world as of July 2018.

Anne-Elizabeth Stone
Anne-Elizabeth Stone, commonly known as Eliza Stone, (born December 31, 1990) is an American sabre fencer. Her results include an individual bronze medal at the 2018 World Fencing Championships and a team gold medal in the 2014 World Championships. Career Stone grew up fencing with her younger brother and sister in Chicago. She first took ballet lessons. She switched to fencing at the age of ten after her father saw a flier for a fencing club at a pizza parlor and thought it would be a good sport for his children. All three ended up fencing for Princeton University. Stone joined the US national team in the 2012–13 season, during which she took the silver medal in the Pan American Championships after being defeated in the final by two-time Olympic champion Mariel Zagunis. Dagmara "Daga" Wozniak ( pl, Woźniak; born July 1, 1988) is an American Sabre (fencing), saber fencing, fencer. Wozniak was named to the U.S. Olympic team at the 2008 Summer Olympics in women's saber competition as a substitute, and as a competitor at the 2012 Summer Olympics, 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. Clara Isabel Di Tella (born 10 June 1993) is an Argentine fencer. She won one of the bronze medals in the women's épée event at the 2019 Pan American Games held in Lima, Peru. Kelley Hurley
Kelley Hurley (born April 4, 1988) is an American épée fencer. She won the bronze medal in the women's team épée event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. A standout at the University of Notre Dame, she was a 4-time All-American. She has qualified to represent the United States in fencing at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo in 2021. Coached by their father, Bob Hurley, Kelley and her younger sister Courtney have competed on World Teams together since Kelley was 17. Kelley qualified for her first Olympic Team in 2008 as the only women's épée fencer from the United States to do so. In 2012, Hurley qualified for her second team as a replacement athlete. Nicole Ross (born January 15, 1989) is an American foil Fencing, fencer. Fencing for the Columbia Lions fencing, Columbia Lions fencing team, she won the 2010 NCAA individual women's foil title, and was a three time All-American. Kelleigh Ryan
Kelleigh Ryan (born January 15, 1987) is a Canadian Olympic fencer. Career Ryan won a silver medal at the 2011 Pan American Games and a gold medal at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, both in the team event. She has also participated in the Pan American Fencing Championships where she won silver medals in the foil team event every year from 2008 to 2019, silver medals in the individual event in 2014 and 2018 and bronze medals in the individual event in 2016 and 2019.
