2018 Mumbai Open
The 2018 L&T Mumbai Open was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 3rd edition of the tournament. It was part of the 2018 WTA 125K series. Hardcourt
A hardcourt (or hard court) is a surface or floor on which a sport is played, most usually in reference to tennis courts. It is typically made of rigid materials such as asphalt or concrete, and covered with acrylic resins to seal the surface and mark the playing lines, while providing some cushioning. Historically, hardwood surfaces were also in use in indoor settings, similar to an indoor basketball court, but these surfaces are rare now. Tennis Tennis hard courts are made of synthetic/acrylic layers on top of a concrete or asphalt foundation and can vary in color. These courts tend to play medium-fast to fast because there is little energy absorption by the court, as with grass courts but unlike clay courts. Rutuja Bhosale
Rutuja Sampatrao Bhosale (born 27 March 1996) is an Indian tennis player. She made her debut for India Fed Cup team in 2012, the same year, she achieved her highest junior ranking of world No. 55. Bhosale, the former Indian number one in the WTA doubles rankings, attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a degree in Human Resources and Tourism management in 2017. She married Swapnil Gugale, former captain of Maharashtra Ranji Team, in August, 2020. Julia Glushko
Julia Glushko (or Yulia, he, יוליה גלושקו; born 1 January 1990) is an Israeli retired tennis player. She won 11 singles and 14 doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. Her best results at a Grand Slam tournament were reaching the third round of the US Open in 2013, and the French Open in 2014 in singles. Deniz Khazaniuk ( he, דניז חזניוק; born 24 October 1994) is an inactive Israeli tennis player. Khazaniuk has career-high WTA rankings of 200 in singles, achieved on 11 June 2018, and of 445 in doubles, achieved on 16 June 2014.
