The 2018 Men's Hockey World Cup was the 14th edition of the Hockey World Cup, the quadrennial world championship for men's national field hockey teams organized by the International Hockey Federation, FIH. It was held from 28 November to 16 December 2018, at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, India. Lucas Rafael Rossi (born 2 June 1985) is an Argentine field hockey player who plays as a midfielder for Belgian club Braxgata and the Argentine national team. Club career Rossi played for Banco Provincia in Argentina. During the 2005–06 season, he played for Harvestehude in the German Bundesliga. He returned to Europe for the 2007–08 season when he signed for Orée in Belgium. He left Orée in 2010 for Léopold. After one season at Léopold he returned to Argentina to focus on the national team in preparation for the 2012 Summer Olympics. After the 2012 Olympics he returned to Léopold. Agustín Alejandro Mazzilli (born 20 June 1989) is an Argentine field hockey player who plays as a midfielder or forward for Belgian Hockey League club Braxgata and the Argentine national team. Club career In Argentina, Mazzilli played for Lomas Athletic Club. His first club in Europe was KHC Leuven from Belgium. After two seasons with Leuven, he went to another Belgian club Royal Léopold, where he played for three seasons. In 2016 he transferred to HC Oranje-Rood in the Netherlands, where he signed a contract for two years. When his contract expired, he signed a 2-year contract for Pinoké from Amstelveen. Nicolás Cicileo (born 1 October 1993) is an Argentine field hockey player who plays as a defender for Belgian Hockey League club Herakles and the Argentine national team. Club career Cicileo played for Ciudad de Buenos Aires in Argentina until 2015 when he moved to Europe to play for Club de Campo in Spain. La Gantoise HC, also known as Gantoise is a Belgian sports club based in Ghent, Brussels. The club is most well known for its field hockey section with both the first men's and women's teams playing in the Belgian Hockey League. The Gantoise women are the current title holders in the Belgian Hockey League, as well as the EuroHockey Club Trophy. History While La Gantoise was originally founded in 1864, the hockey section was not formed until 1914. The first edition of the Belgian Hockey League, known simply as 'The Championship' at the time, was held following the conclusion of World War One.
