2018 Kilkenny Intermediate Hurling Championship
The 2018 Kilkenny Intermediate Hurling Championship was the 54th staging of the Kilkenny Intermediate Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Kilkenny County Board in 1929. The championship began on 22 September 2018 and ended on 28 October 2018. On 28 October 2018, Graigue-Ballycallan won the championship after a 2–16 to 2–13 defeat of Tullaroan in the final at Nowlan Park. It was their second championship overall and their first title since 1987. Tullogher-Rosbercon's Cian O'Donoghue was the championship's top scorer with 1-29. Dunnamaggin GAA
Dunnamaggin is a Gaelic Athletic Association club situated in the south of County Kilkenny, Ireland. The club was founded in 1897, but had to wait ninety-four years for its first senior county title, taking home the junior trophy in 1994. Despite being based in one of the smallest parishes in the county, many Dunnamaggin hurlers have gone on to play with the Kilkenny intercounty team. The club also won the senior title in 1997. Urlingford
Urlingford () is a town, as well as a civil parish within the barony of Galmoy. It is located in the north west of County Kilkenny, along the boundary with County Tipperary, in Leinster, Ireland. Castlecomer
Castlecomer (Irish: ''Caislean an Chumai'' meaning "the castle at the confluence of the waters") is a town in the north of County Kilkenny, Ireland. It is positioned at the meeting of N78 and R694 roads about north of Kilkenny city. At the 2016 census of the Central Statistics Office, the town's population included 1,502 people. The town has been associated with the coal mining industry since the 17th century, and is part of a discrete area called the Castlecomer Plateau. Erin's Own GAA (Kilkenny)
Erin's Own Gaelic Athletic Association was founded in 1885 and since then has been the main sporting organization in the Castlecomer area in County Kilkenny, Ireland. Erin's Own fielded teams in 11 different grades of hurling and in 7 grades of gaelic football in 2006, and is currently undertaking major development at its new ground, Canon Kearns Park. With a membership of about 20 adults and about 100 youths the club is in the enviable position of having two properties, the first, The Prince Grounds, in the town, and the second, Canon Kearns Park, on the outskirts of the town, towards Kilkenny. Mullinavat () is a town in south County Kilkenny, Ireland. Its main industries are tourism and agriculture. It has a renowned sporting history, particularly in hurling.
