2018 Kentucky Wildcats Baseball Team
The 2018 Kentucky Wildcats baseball team represents the University of Kentucky during the 2018 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Wildcats are a member of the Southeastern Conference. They are led by head coach Nick Mingione, who is in his second year at Kentucky. The 2018 season marks the 50th and last season to play their home games at Cliff Hagan Stadium. The Wildcats will open their new stadium on Alumni Drive for the 2019 season. Nick Mingione (born September 10, 1978) is a baseball coach and former outfielder, who is the current the head coach of the Kentucky Wildcats. Sewell–Thomas Stadium is a baseball stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. It is the home field of the University of Alabama Crimson Tide college baseball team. The stadium opened in 1948 and the current seating capacity is 8,500. The stadium is commonly referred to as "The Joe". The 2018 Texas Tech Red Raiders baseball team represented Texas Tech University during the 2018 NCAA Division I baseball season.
