2018 International Crown
The 2018 International Crown was a women's golf team event organized by the LPGA, played 4–7 Oct at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea in Incheon, South Korea. This was the third International Crown, a biennial match play event contested between teams of four players representing eight countries. Due to the anticipated arrival of Typhoon Kong-rey, the tournament schedule was adjusted; the second round tee times were moved earlier on Friday and the third round, originally scheduled for Saturday, was started on Friday afternoon. The final round was to be played Saturday, 6 October, instead of Sunday. However, typhoon rains arrived earlier than expected so that no matches were played Saturday; the third round was finished Sunday, followed by the singles matches. Jessica Regina Korda ( cs, Jessica Kordová) (born February 27, 1993) is an Czech-American professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour. Amateur career Korda was a member of the 2009 U.S. Junior Solheim Cup and the 2010 U.S. Curtis Cup teams. As an amateur, she won the 2010 South Atlantic Amateur and made the cut at the 2008 and 2009 U.S. Women's Opens. Sarah Jane Smith ( Kenyon) (born 8 July 1984) is an Australian professional golfer and LPGA Tour player. Ayako Uehara (golfer)
is a Japanese professional golfer. Uehara started playing golf at age 12, turned professional in 2003, and made her way onto the LPGA Tour on her first attempt. Together with Ai Miyazato and Sakura Yokomine, she was a member of the Japanese team that won a silver medal at the 2002 Asian Games. Mamiko Higa (born 11 October 1993) is a Japanese professional golfer. Amateur career Higa represented Japan at the 2010 Asian Games. Misuzu Narita
is a Japanese professional golfer with over a dozen wins on the LPGA of Japan Tour. Career Narita was born in Ichihara, Chiba. Nasa Hataoka
is a Japanese professional golfer. She has won six times on the LPGA Tour and six times on the LPGA of Japan Tour. Amateur career Hataoka was born on 13 January 1999, named after the United States space program, NASA. Bronte May Law (born 12 March 1995) is an English professional golfer. Her maiden LPGA Tour victory, her first win as a professional, came in May 2019 at the Pure Silk Championship in Virginia. Jodi Ewart Shadoff (born 7 January 1988) is an English professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour and on the Ladies European Tour. Early life Ewart was born at Northallerton in North Yorkshire.
