2018 Everest Premier League
The 2018 Everest Premier League, also known as EPL3 or 2018 TVS EPL because of the sponsorship reason, was the third edition of the Everest Premier League, a professional men's domestic Twenty20 cricket competition in Nepal. The tournament was held from 8 December 2018 to 22 December 2018. Biratnagar Warriors were defending champions for the tournament but they were eliminated in the group stage. Lalitpur Patriots won the 2018 season and it's their first title. Players Release and Bidding The players release and bidding process was held on 11 November 2018 and broadcast live on the official Facebook page of EPL in the presence of Raman Shiwakoti, chief of EPL technical committee and the manager of Nepal men's national cricket team. Twenty20 (T20) is a shortened game format of cricket. At the professional level, it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the inter-county competition. In a Twenty20 game, the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of 20 overs. Pradeep Singh Airee ( ne, प्रदिप सिंह ऐरी) (born 1 September 1992) is a Nepalese cricketer. Airee is a right-handed batsman and an occasional wicket-keeper, who bowls right-arm medium pace. Roelof Erasmus van der Merwe (born 31 December 1984) is a Dutch-South African professional cricketer who has played internationally for both South Africa and the Netherlands, one of the few players to represent more than one international team. Paul Adriaan van Meekeren (born 15 January 1993) is a Dutch cricketer who most recently played for Gloucestershire County Cricket Club. Ryan Neil ten Doeschate (; born 30 June 1980) is a former Dutch–South African cricketer who played for the Netherlands national cricket team in One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket.
