Bloomsbury is a ward in the London Borough of Camden, in the United Kingdom. It covers much of the historic area of Bloomsbury, and also some of Covent Garden and Fitzrovia. The ward has existed since the creation of the borough on 1 April 1965 and was first used in the 1964 elections, although its boundaries have evolved significantly over time, meaning that it no longer reflects the historical boundaries of Bloomsbury. Since 1983, the ward has been in the Holborn and St Pancras constituency, having previously been in Holborn and St Pancras South. It elects three councillors to Camden council, currently all held by the Labour Party, with an election every four years. In 2018, the ward had an electorate of 8,318. The Boundary Commission projects the electorate to rise to 8,541 by 2025. As the name suggests, it covers the parts of Holborn and Covent Garden that lie in Camden; the eastern part of Holborn lies in the City of London and the southern part of Covent Garden lies in the City of Westminster. Haverstock is a ward in the London Borough of Camden, in the United Kingdom. The ward has existed since the May 2002 local elections and covers most of the Haverstock and Chalk Farm areas. Michael Pawlyn
Michael Pawlyn (born 30 September 1967) is a British architect noted for his work in the field biomimetic architecture and innovation, as well as jointly initiating the 'Architects Declare' movement in the UK. He was part of the principal team of architects that conceived and designed The Eden Project and is a regular keynote speaker at events on innovation and environmental sustainability. Oliver Cooper (politician)
Oliver Cooper (born 1987) is an English Conservative politician and a prominent party activist. He was the leader of the party on Camden London Borough Council representing Hampstead Town. Career Cooper attended Dr Challoner's Grammar School and University College London. He is a lawyer and a former journalist. He was elected to represent Hampstead Town ward on Camden Council in 2015. He became the Leader of the Opposition after the 2018 elections. Ahead of the 2022 Camden Borough elections, Cooper chose to move from his 'safe' Conservative ward to the Tory-Liberal Democrat split ward of Belsize to try to increase his party's number of seats. Henry Newman (political Adviser)
Henry Newman is a British political adviser. He is an adviser to Michael Gove, having formerly been a senior adviser to Prime Minister Boris Johnson. He also served as a councillor on Camden London Borough Council.
