The 2018 All-Big 12 Conference football team consists of American football players chosen as All-Big 12 Conference players for the 2018 Big 12 Conference football season. The conference recognizes two official All-Big 12 selectors: (1) the Big 12 conference coaches selected separate offensive and defensive units and named first- and second-team players (the "Coaches" team); and (2) a panel of sports writers and broadcasters covering the Big 12 also selected offensive and defensive units and named first- and second-team players (the "Media" team). 2018 Big 12 Conference Football Season
The 2018 Big 12 Conference football season represents the 23rd season of Big 12 Conference football, talking place during the 2018 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The season began with non-conference play on Thursday, August 30, 2018. Big 12 Conference play began on Saturday, September 22, 2018. The 2018 season will be the seventh for the Big 12 since the 2010–13 Big 12 Conference realignment brought the Big 12 membership to its current form. As a ten-team league, the Big 12 will play a nine-game round-robin conference schedule and each member will play three non-conference games-one of which must be against another Power Five conference foe. The regular season will be followed by a conference championship game played between the regular-season champion and regular-season runner-up. Josh Sills
Joshua Matthew Sills (born January 26, 1998) is an American football offensive guard for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at West Virginia and Oklahoma State. Early life and education Sills was born on January 26, 1998, and grew up in Sarahsville, Ohio. He attended Meadowbrook High School in Byesville, and was a two-year starter. He committed to the University of West Virginia, and spent his first year as a redshirt. As a freshman in 2017, Sills played in 13 games and was a starter in 10, five of those at left guard and the other five at right guard. He appeared on 681 snaps and led the team with 13 knockdown blocks. Hakeem Butler (born May 16, 1996) is an American football wide receiver for the St. Louis BattleHawks of the XFL. He played college football at Iowa State, and was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He has also been a member of the Carolina Panthers and Philadelphia Eagles. Early years Butler was born in Baltimore, Maryland on May 16, 1996. David Sills V (born May 29, 1996) is an American football wide receiver who is a free agent. As a seventh-grade quarterback in 2010, he garnered national attention when he verbally committed to play football at the University of Southern California. In 2014, Sills decommitted from USC and eventually signed a national letter of intent to play at West Virginia University. Sills began his college career as a quarterback, but moved to wide receiver as a freshman.
