2018 AFL Draft
The 2018 AFL draft consisted of the various periods where the 18 clubs in the Australian Football League (AFL) traded and recruited players following the completion of the 2018 AFL season. For the first time, the AFL draft featured live trading of picks and was held over two days, with the first round held on the evening of Thursday, 22 November and the remainder of the draft being held on Friday, 23 November The draft was held in Victoria for the first time since 2009. Docklands Stadium, also currently known by naming rights sponsorship as Marvel Stadium, is a multi-purpose sports and entertainment stadium in the Docklands area of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Hayden Crozier (born 24 December 1993) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Western Bulldogs in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously played for the Fremantle Football Club from 2012 to 2017. Career Originally from Rowville, Crozier played junior football for the Eastern Ranges in the TAC Cup. Darcy Lang (born 21 November 1995) is an Australian rules footballer. He played for seven years in the Australian Football League, with Geelong and Carlton. Darcy grew up in Colac, Victoria and played for Victoria Country in the 2013 AFL Under 18 Championships, where he suffered a broken leg. Brandon Matera (born 11 March 1992) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Gold Coast Football Club (2011–2017) and the Fremantle Football Club (2018–2020) in the Australian Football League (AFL).
