Turkish Women's Volleyball League
The Turkish Women's Volleyball League ( tr, Türkiye Kadınlar Voleybol 1. Ligi) officially called the Sultans League (Turkish: Sultanlar Ligi), is the highest professional women's volleyball league in Turkey. It is run by the Turkish Volleyball Federation and began with the 1984–85 season. 14 clubs are currently participating in the league. It is often regarded as the best professional women's volleyball league in the world. Its clubs have obtained significant successes in European and other international competitions. Eczacıbaşı are the most successful club, having won 16 championships so far. Eda Erdem Dündar
Eda Erdem Dündar (, born Eda Erdem; 22 June 1987) is a Turkish professional volleyball player. She currently plays for both Fenerbahçe SK and the national team and is the captain of both teams. Career Eda Erdem has been playing for Fenerbahçe with jersey number 14 since 2008. Before she joined Fenerbahçe, she had played for Beşiktaş for 4 years (2004–2008). She played more than 300 times for the Turkish national team. In Doha, Qatar, Eda won the 2010 FIVB World Club Championship, playing with Fenerbahçe and earned the ''Best Server'' award. Olesia Rykhliuk is a Ukrainian volleyball player. She competed at five FIVB World Club Championships. At 2015 Club World Championship in Zurich, Switzerland, won a bronze medal with Volero Zurich and received Best Opposite award and was a Best Scorer of the tournament. Neslihan Demir (born 9 December 1983) is a retired Turkish people, Turkish volleyball star. She is one of the most successful athletes of Turkey and has been among Fédération Internationale de Volleyball#FIVB Heroes, FIVB Heroes. Tijana Bošković ( sr-cyrl, Тијана Бошковић; born 8 March 1997) is a Serbian professional volleyball player who plays as an opposite spiker for Turkish Women's Volleyball League club Eczacıbaşı Dynavit and the Serbia women's national volleyball team. She has won gold medals with the national team at the 2018 and 2022 World Championships, and the 2017 and 2019 European Championships.
