2017 TCR International Series Oschersleben Round
The 2017 TCR International Series Oschersleben round was the seventh round of the 2017 TCR International Series season. It took place on 9 July at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. Gianni Morbidelli won both races starting from pole position in Race 1 and tenth position in Race 2, driving a Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR. Ballast Due to the results obtained in the previous round, Attila Tassi received +30 kg, Norbert Michelisz +20 kg and Pepe Oriola +10 kg. Nevertheless, Michelisz didn't take part at this event, so he didn't take the ballast. The Motorsport Arena Oschersleben is a long race track with a width of and elevation changes of . The circuit is located in Oschersleben, Börde where is approximately from Magdeburg), Germany. Pepe Oriola
Josep "Pepe" Oriola Vila (born 9 July 1994) is a Spanish racing driver. He became the youngest driver to race in the World Touring Car Championship when he competed in the 2011 season. Oriola is not only the youngest driver to start a WTCC race at the age of 16, he’s also the youngest to be on the podium and to have won a race. Feats he achieved in Brazil in 2011 and Morocco in 2013 respectively. His record of being the youngest driver ever to compete, score championship points and win a race in the prestigious WTCC remains to this day. Luca Engstler (born 8 March 2000) is a German racing driver currently competing in the WTCR and ADAC TCR Germany Touring Car Championship. Having previously competed in the TCR Middle East Touring Car Series and ADAC Formula 4 amongst others. Racing career Engstler began his career in 2009 in Karting, he continued in karting until 2014. In 2015 he switched to the ADAC Formula 4 Series, he continued in the series for 2016 and finished twenty-sixth in the championship standings that year. For 2017 he switched to the ADAC TCR Germany Touring Car Championship, he took his first podiums at the third round of the championship at Oschersleben, where he took two third-place finishes. Roberto Colciago
Roberto Colciago (born 4 April 1968) is a racing driver from Saronno, Italy. He has spent most of his career in touring car racing – first in Super Touring and then in Super 2000 – followed by the World Touring Car Championship and currently races in the TCR International series. His major successes include two Swedish Touring Car Championship drivers' titles and the Italian Touring Car Championship title. He is married, with one daughter. James Nash (born 16 December 1985, in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire) is a British auto racing driver. On 16 October 2011 at the final round of the 2011 BTCC season he clinched the independents' championship. Giacomo Altoè (born 5 October 2000) is an Italian Lamborghini racing driver. Having previously competed in the Italian F4 Championship and TCR Middle East Series amongst others. Racing career Altoè began his career in 2015 in Karting. The ninth-generation Honda Civic is a range of compact cars (C-segment) manufactured by Honda between 2011 and 2017, replacing the eighth-generation Civic.
