Club Eagles are the defending champions, having beaten TC Sports Club in last season's final, winning their first President's Cup gold. Club Eagles
Club Eagles, formerly known as Eagles Malé, is a sports club based in Malé, Maldives. It is best known for its football team. The team were promoted to Dhivehi League in 2006 and relegated back to the Second Division the next season. They were again promoted to the top division in 2011, after several years. Ali Shaamiu
ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib ( ar, عَلِيّ بْن أَبِي طَالِب; 600 – 661 CE) was the last of four Rightly Guided Caliphs to rule Islam (r. 656 – 661) immediately after the death of Muhammad, and he was the first Shia Imam. Yasfaadh Habeeb (born 9 September 1992), known as ''Mulakey'', is a Maldivian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Da Grande Sports Club. Club career Yasfaadh started his career playing for the Third Division side BG Sports Club in 2011. Ali Fasir ( dv, ޢަލީ ފާސިރު; born 4 September 1988) nicknamed "Sentey", is a Maldivian footballer who plays as a winger or striker for Club Valencia, which he captains, and the Maldives national team. Fasir began his career at Club Eagles after being spotted by the club during their training camps. He played one season with the club and spent a year without a club until he was offered from Club All Youth Linkage. He played a major role to promote his side from second division to Dhivehi League. Ali Ashfaq (; born 6 September 1985) is a Maldivian professional footballer who plays as a forward and captains the Maldives national team. Nicknamed "Man of Steel" (), he is regarded as one of the best players in the South Asian region. A prolific and individualistic goalscorer, he is a free-kick specialist and a clinical finisher.
