The 2017 Perth SuperSprint was a motor racing event for the Supercars Championship, held on the weekend of 6 to 7 May 2017. The event was held at Barbagallo Raceway near Wanneroo, Western Australia and consisted of two races, 120 and 200 kilometres in length. It is the 4th event of fourteen in the 2017 Supercars Championship and hosted Races 7 and 8 of the season. Background Driver changes Taz Douglas was replaced at Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport with Matthew Brabham, becoming the first member of the Brabham family to compete in the Australian Touring Car Championship since his uncle David Brabham raced in the 2013 Gold Coast 600. The 2016 Perth SuperSprint was a motor racing event for V8 Supercars, held on the weekend of 6 to 8 May 2016. The event was held at Barbagallo Raceway at Wanneroo, Western Australia, and consisted of one race of 120 kilometres and one race of 200 km in length. It was the fourth event of fourteen in the 2016 International V8 Supercars Championship and hosted Races 8 and 9 of the season. The event was the 39th running of the Perth SuperSprint. Cameron Waters took his first championship pole position in a rain-affected qualifying session for Race 8. The 2017 Super2 Series (known for commercial reasons as the 2017 Dunlop Super2 Series) was an Australian motor racing competition for Supercars, staged as a support series to the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship. It was the eighteenth annual Supercars Development Series. The series was won by Todd Hazelwood, driving a Holden VF Commodore for Matt Stone Racing. The 2012 Armor All Gold Coast 600 was a touring car motor race for V8 Supercars. It was the Round 12 of the 2012 International V8 Supercars Championship and the 22nd edition of the event. It occurred from 19 to 21 October at the Surfers Paradise Street Circuit on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
