2017 McDonald's All-American Boys Game
The 2017 McDonald's All-American Boys Game was an All-star basketball game that was played on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, home of the Chicago Bulls. The game's rosters features the best and most highly recruited high school boys graduating in 2017. The game is the 40th annual version of the McDonald's All-American Game first played in 1977. The 24 players are selected from 2,500 nominees by a committee of basketball experts. They are chosen not only for their on-court skills but for their performances off the court as well. Michael Porter Jr
Michael Lamar Porter Jr. (born June 29, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Missouri Tigers. Porter was ranked as one of the top prospects in the class of 2017. He was selected 14th overall by the Nuggets in the 2018 NBA draft. Mohamed Karlakwan Damala Bamba (born May 12, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for the Orlando Magic of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Texas Longhorns. He was highly regarded by scouts due to his wingspan. Lorenzo Romar (born November 13, 1958) is an American basketball coach and former player. He is the head men's basketball coach at Pepperdine University, a position he held from 1996 to 1999 and resumed in 2018. Romar also served as the head men's basketball coach at Saint Louis University from 1999 to 2002 and the University of Washington from 2002 to 2017. Kevin Devon Knox II (born August 11, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Trevon Tyler Duval (born August 3, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for the Grand Rapids Gold of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils.
