Winterberg Bobsleigh, Luge, And Skeleton Track
The Winterberg bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton track is a bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton track located in Winterberg, Germany. It is the only track of its kind in the world with a turn that has corporate sponsorship with turn seven being sponsored by Veltins, a German brewery which has its headquarters located in neighboring Meschede. History Completed in 1977, the track underwent a redesign of its start house area where the women's luge start house was moved from before turn four to near the men's luge start house prior to turn one in 2006. Kim Kalicki
Kim Kalicki (born 27 June 1997) is a German bobsledder who competes for TuS Eintracht Wiesbaden 1846. She also representing the Germany national team since 2015 and won the silver medal in the two-woman bobsleigh event at the Bobsleigh World Championships in 2020 and 2021 with Kira Lipperheide and Ann-Christin Strack, respectively. Career Former track and field athlete Kim Kalicki switched into bobsleigh at the age of 17. She made her debut in the European Bobsleigh Cup on the track in Winterberg in November, 2015 and took second place behind Sabrina Duljevic with her brakewoman Ann-Christin Strack. At the end of the 2015/16 season, she finished sixth overall in the European Bobsleigh Cup with 438 points. Mica Moore
Mica Moore (born 23 November 1992) is a British women's sprinter and bobsleigher. She competed for Wales in the 4 × 100 metres relay at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, and competed in the 2-women bobsleigh event at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Athletics career Moore began her sporting career as a sprinter, running for Birchfield Harriers and Cardiff Metropolitan University. Moore was coached by her father Lawrence. Mica McNeill (born 25 September 1993) is a British bobsledder. She won a silver medal at the 2012 Youth Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria, and at the 2021–22 Bobsleigh World Cup event in Sigulda, Latvia. She competed at the 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics. Early life McNeill is from Consett, County Durham, England, and attended Durham High School for Girls.
