2017 Euroformula Open Championship
The 2017 Euroformula Open Championship was a multi-event motor racing championship for single-seat open wheel formula racing cars that held across Europe. The championship will feature drivers competing in two-litre Formula Three racing cars built by Italian constructor Dallara which conform to the technical regulations, or formula, for the championship. It was the fourth Euroformula Open Championship season. The season was dominated by Harrison Scott, who holds the record for most wins, poles and fastest laps in a rookie season of the Euroformula Open Championship (but he wasn't eligible to the rookie's championship due to his 2016 Masters of Formula 3 experience). He clinched drivers' title at Monza with two rounds to spare and mostly by his race results was granted teams' title to RP Motorsport. Euroformula Open Championship
The Euroformula Open Championship (formerly the Spanish Formula Three Championship, European F3 Open Championship) is a junior formula racing series based in Spain. It was one of six national and international Formula Three championships in Europe and Scandinavia that together used to form an important part of the established "career ladder" below Formula One. The championship's first season was held in 2001. In 2006, it was branded as the Spanish F3 Championship by Toyota, in deference to its sole engine supplier. In 2020, the championship ceased to be a F3-championship and will share its specifications with Japan's Super Formula Lights based on the previous-generation Formula Three standards, primarily with a choice of engines. Petru Gabriel Florescu (born 4 January 1999 in Bucharest) is a Romanian racing driver. Career Petru made his karting debut in 2007, aged 8. In 2015, he made his debut in the UK-based MSA Formula series, from Carlin, finishing sixth in his second season. Joey Mawson
Joseph "Joey" Mawson (born 27 March 1996 in Sydney) is a professional racing driver from Australia, who is the current double champion of the Australian S5000 Championship. Career Mawson started his career in karting at the age of 7, and soon began to dominate the Junior karting scene, winning 19 state and 3 national titles between 2003 and 2012. Aleksey Chuklin ( rus, Алексе́й Чу́клин, p=ɐlʲɪkˈsʲej ˈtɕuklʲɪn; born 11 August 1985) is a Russian racing driver, since 2015 competing under Ukrainian racing license while living in Kyiv. Fortec Motorsport Ltd. is a motor-racing team that races in the GB3 Championship. The team was bought in 1995 by current owner Richard Dutton. Guilherme de Abreu Sampaio Samaia (born 2 October 1996 in São Paulo) is a retired Brazilian racing driver.
