2017 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers Baseball Team
The 2017 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers baseball team represented Coastal Carolina University in the 2017 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Chanticleers played their home games at Springs Brooks Stadium. This was the first season of competition in the Sun Belt after transitioning from the Big South. While the Chanticleers were successful in their inaugural Sun Belt season, winning a regular season title, they failed to return to the NCAA tournament after winning the College World Series the previous season. Gary Gilmore (baseball)
Gary R. Gilmore is an American college baseball coach who is currently the head coach of the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers baseball, Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. He has held the position since the start of the 1996 NCAA Division I baseball season, 1996 season. Coastal Carolina has qualified for 17 NCAA Division I Baseball Championship, NCAA Tournaments, most recently in 2022 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament, 2022. In 2016 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament, 2016, the team made its first appearance in the College World Series and won the 2016 NCAA National Championship. Georgia State Panthers Baseball
The Georgia State Panthers baseball team represents Georgia State University in NCAA Division I college baseball. The team currently competes in the Sun Belt Conference. It first began competing there before moving to the TAAC, and the CAA. Beginning July 1, 2013, Georgia State returned to the Sun Belt Conference for all sports. The Panthers play their home games at Georgia State's Panthersville sports complex in the GSU Baseball Complex. History The Georgia State Panthers baseball team first began playing in 1956 led by head coach Herbert "Stony" Burgess. Bobcat Ballpark
Bobcat Ballpark is a baseball venue in San Marcos, Texas, on the campus of Texas State University. It is home of the Texas State Bobcats baseball team of the NCAA Division I Sun Belt Conference. It currently holds 2,400 spectators. In 2008, the baseball and softball stadiums were renovated and expanded to its current design. In addition, four luxury suites for up to 12 people were added. The renovations made their debut on March 5, 2009 against the Texas Longhorns with a record setting 2,593 people. Features of the venue include a press box, team merchandise area, batting cages, stadium lighting, and a chain link/mesh backstop. The 2017 Texas State Bobcats baseball team represented the Texas State University in the 2017 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Bobcats played their home games at Bobcat Ballpark. Schedule and results Texas State announced its 2017 baseball schedule on October 26, 2016. The 2017 schedule consisted of 33 home and 23 away games in the regular season. 2017 Wake Forest Demon Deacons Baseball Team
The 2017 Wake Forest Demon Deacons baseball team represented Wake Forest University during the 2017 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Demon Deacons play their home games at Gene Hooks Field at Wake Forest Baseball Park as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. They were led by head coach Tom Walter in his 8th season at Wake Forest. After a successful regular season record and conference record in ACC play the Demon Deacons secured a spot in the NCAA tournament as the eighth overall seed. Brooks Field is a stadium located on the campus of the University of North Carolina Wilmington in Wilmington, North Carolina. Brooks Field is the home of the UNC Wilmington Seahawks baseball team and has hosted the Colonial Athletic Association baseball tournament a number of times (1989–90, 1993, 2004–11, 2014, 2017).
