The 2017 Gree China Cup International Football Championship () was the inaugural edition of the China Cup, an international football tournament. It was held from 10 to 15 January 2017 in Nanning, Guangxi, China. The tournament was hosted by the Chinese Football Association, Wanda Sports Holdings, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Sports Bureau and the Nanning Municipal Government, and sponsored by Gree Electric. Gao Zhunyi (; ; born 21 August 1995) is a Chinese professional footballer who currently plays for Chinese Super League club Wuhan Three Towns. Club career Gao Zhunyi started his football career when he joined Shanghai Luckystar in 2009. On 31 January 2014, he transferred to J2 League side Kataller Toyama, which made him the third Chinese footballer to play in the Japanese professional leagues after Jia Xiuquan and Xu Xiaofei. Yang Shanping (; born 28 October 1987) is a Chinese footballer who plays as a defender. Club career Yang Shanping started his football career with Liaoning Whowin when he made his debut on 15 May 2005 in a 3-1 win against Shenzhen Jianlibao. Pei Shuai (; born 14 January 1993) is a Chinese professional footballer who currently plays for Chinese Super League club Shenzhen F.C. Club career Pei joined Changchun Yatai at the age of 14 in 2007. He was promoted to Changchun Yatai's first team squad by head coach Shen Xiangfu in 2011.
