The 2016–17 season was Portsmouth's 118th season of existence and their fourth consecutive season in League Two. Portsmouth ( ) is a port and city in the ceremonial county of Hampshire in southern England. The city of Portsmouth has been a unitary authority since 1 April 1997 and is administered by Portsmouth City Council. Portsmouth is the most densely populated city in the United Kingdom, with a population last recorded at 208,100. Portsmouth is located south-west of London and south-east of Southampton. David Forde (footballer)
David Forde (born 20 December 1979) is an Irish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Internationally, Forde played for the Republic of Ireland between 2011 and 2016 and was part of the team's 23-man squad for the 2012 European Championships. In 2013, he became the oldest player to make their competitive debut for the Republic of Ireland, when he played against Sweden at the age of 33. Forde started his career with his hometown club Galway United in 1999. After two seasons with Galway, he moved to Welsh League Champions Barry Town and from there to West Ham United. Forde failed to make a first team appearance for West Ham, and after loan spells with Derry City and Barnet he returned to Ireland on a permanent basis, playing with Galway United and then Derry City. Accrington Stanley F
Accrington is a town in the Hyndburn borough of Lancashire, England. It lies about east of Blackburn, west of Burnley, east of Preston, north of Manchester and is situated on the culverted River Hyndburn. Warrington
Warrington () is a town and unparished area in the borough of the same name in the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England, on the banks of the River Mersey. It is east of Liverpool, and west of Manchester. Thomas Christopher Davies (born 18 April 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Tranmere Rovers. Career Born in Warrington, England, Davies started his career with local junior side Grappenhall Juniors where he was spotted by Manchester United and Manchester City and invited for trials with both clubs. He subsequently signed for Manchester United as an eight-year-old, where he spent four years at the club as a youth player before he was released in 2005. Dagenham & Redbridge F
Dagenham () is a town in East London, England, within the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. Dagenham is centred east of Charing Cross. It was historically a rural parish in the Becontree Hundred of Essex, stretching from Hainault Forest in the north to the River Thames in the south. Ruislip
Ruislip ( ) is an area in the London Borough of Hillingdon in West London, and in the historic county of Middlesex. Ruislip lies west-north-west of Charing Cross, London. The manor of Ruislip appears in the Domesday Book, and some of the earliest settlements still exist today, designated as local heritage sites. Liam Daniel O'Brien (born 30 November 1991) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Stratford Town. He began his professional career at Portsmouth and received one England U19 cap while at the club.
