The 2016–17 Michigan Wolverines women's basketball team represented University of Michigan during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. Kim Barnes Arico
Kimberly Ann Barnes Arico (born August 9, 1970) is an American women's basketball coach, and the current head coach of the Michigan Wolverines women's basketball team. Previously, she was head coach of the St. John's University women's basketball team. She was inducted to the Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame in 2020. Coaching career On May 7, 2002, Barnes was named the head coach at St. John's University. She was named the seventh head coach in the then 28-year history of the women's basketball program. She currently holds the record for most wins at the program and led the Red Storm to their first ever Sweet Sixteen appearance in the 2012 NCAA tournament. During the 2017–18 season, she became the winningest coach in Michigan Wolverines women's basketball program history. She is the only coach in program history with six straight 20-win seasons. Wayne State Warriors
The Wayne State Warriors are the athletic teams that represent Wayne State University, located in Detroit, Michigan, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sporting competitions. The Warriors compete as members of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) for all 16 varsity sports. The Warriors have been members of the GLIAC since 1975. 16-17 is a band from Basel, Switzerland. Their music combines punk rock, hardcore punk, jazz and industrial music. Biography 16-17 was founded in 1983 by Alex Buess, Knut Remond and Markus Kneubühler. When the group played its first concerts in 1983 it was received with controversial reactions: there where hardly any groups that played in an approximately similar style. Only some years later around 1986 groups like Painkiller, Last Exit or The Flying Luttenbachers appeared . They played a similar mix of rough noise, heavily amplified instruments and free jazz inspired improvisation. 1983 to 1994 the group did a lot of tours and played many gigs all over Europe, Japan and USA. Cambria Heights is a residential neighborhood in the southeastern portion of the New York City borough of Queens.
